Jaret Sabol, Orange County Riptide

Hitter of the Week (June 1-7)

Rising redshirt freshman outfielder Jarett Sabol earned his first CCL Hitter of the Week honors for his performance from June 1 - June 7. After redshirting this past season at the University of Southern California, the left-handed Sabol hit .400 with a 1.139 OPS. Sabol drove in five runs, scored three runs, and drew three walks.

His biggest swing came against the San Diego Waves in an 8–6 victory for the Riptide. In the bottom of the seventh, with the Riptide trailing 5–3, Sabol launched his first home run of the year, a three-run blast to give the Riptide a lead they would not surrender.
