Canon King, Arroyo Seco Saints

A rising sophomore at California State University, San Marcos, Canon King had an exceptional week at the dish. The infielder went 6-for-11 with five RBIs and four walks. Vasell added a double and two home runs while leading the Saints to a 4–1 week. King is now hitting .325 with 14 RBIs, 19 runs, three stolen bases, and a league-leading six home runs. 

The outfielder’s performance was highlighted by a 3-for-3 day against the Conejo Oaks with a double, two RBIs, and a walk. In yesterday’s contest against the Oaks, King left the yard with a solo shot to give himself the outright home run lead with a week to play.  

King’s standout week helped propel the Saints to a 4–1 week, and the club has now won 7 of their last 10 games.
