California Collegiate League Announces 2026 Schedule
Defending Champion Conejo Oaks Look to Three-Peat as CCL Enters 33rd Season
March 13, 2026
The California Collegiate League (CCL) has officially announced its 2026 regular season schedule, marking the beginning of the league's 33rd season of summer collegiate baseball.
The upcoming campaign will once again feature 10 full-member franchises competing across the North and South Divisions, with teams playing nearly every day throughout the summer across California. CCL teams will also face several affiliate clubs during the season, creating a full slate of competitive matchups.
Conejo Oaks Seek Third Straight Championship
The Conejo Oaks enter the 2026 season as the league's defending champions after capturing their second consecutive CCL title last summer. Conejo defeated the Sonoma Stompers in the CCL Championship Series and will now look to accomplish a rare feat by pursuing a third straight league championship.
The Oaks advanced to the championship series after defeating the Arroyo Seco Saints in the South Division Championship.
North Division Outlook
The North Division returns a strong group of clubs for the 2026 campaign. The Sonoma Stompers captured the division title last season and advanced to the championship series after defeating the Walnut Creek Crawdads in a memorable extra-inning playoff game.
The San Francisco Seagulls, Menlo Park Legends, and San Luis Obispo Blues will all look to position themselves for a postseason run as the North Division race unfolds throughout the summer.
South Division Competition
In the South Division, the defending champion Conejo Oaks will once again face strong competition throughout the season. The Santa Barbara Foresters return looking to reclaim the top spot in the standings, while the Arroyo Seco Saints and Orange County Riptide continue to field talented rosters capable of competing deep into the postseason.
The MLB Academy Barons remain a unique presence in the league, providing a competitive platform connected with Major League Baseball's development initiatives.
Affiliate Clubs Join the Schedule
In addition to the league's full-member teams, the 2026 schedule will include games against five affiliate organizations: the Alameda Merchants, Santa Maria Indians, San Diego Waves, San Diego Bombers, and the Philippines Baseball Group. These affiliate clubs regularly compete against CCL teams during the summer and provide additional high-level competition throughout the season.
2026 CCL All-Star Game – July 4
The 2026 CCL All-Star Game will take place on July 4 in Reno, Nevada, in partnership with the Reno Aces, the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The game will be played at Greater Nevada Field and will feature top players from across the California Collegiate League. Fans attending the event will also enjoy a postgame Independence Day fireworks show following the game.
Looking Ahead to the 2026 Season
As the CCL enters its 33rd season, the league continues its tradition of showcasing top collegiate talent while providing a competitive platform for players looking to develop during the summer months.
