In the latest episode of "On the Horizon: A California Collegiate League (CCL) Baseball Podcast, Calvin, Sammy, and Max talk about and announce the Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, Spencer Gallimore (Blues) and Bryden Bull (Crawdads), respectively. They also give their thoughts on the dominant pitching staff of the Blues, the great weeks for the Foresters and Riptide, and take a look at the individual league leaders on both the offensive and pitching front.

Calvin, Sammy, and Max also interview Walnut Creek Crawdads head coach Brant Cummings, and talk to him about his career in the CCL, the ups and downs of a baseball season, and how to respond after a loss. The episode concludes with their, "A View From the Booth" segment, where the three broadcasters discuss the Conejo Oaks and Arroyo Seco Saints, as well as the impact baserunning has had so far this season.
