CCL Week Ahead: All Eyes on Reno
The CCL wraps up another exciting week of regular-season play before shifting its attention to one of the premier events of the summer. On Saturday, the league's top players will travel to Reno, Nevada, for the 2026 CCL All-Star Game, showcasing the best talent the league has to offer on one of the biggest stages of the season.
Before the All-Stars take the field, teams across the league have one more opportunity to build momentum, strengthen their position in the standings, and close out the week on a high note.
Matchups to Watch
Walnut Creek Crawdads at Sonoma Stompers

The week begins with another important North Division matchup as Walnut Creek heads to Sonoma. These two clubs have played competitive baseball throughout the season, and every divisional game becomes increasingly important as the summer schedule moves into July.
San Francisco Seagulls at San Luis Obispo Blues

San Luis Obispo continues to be one of the league's premier teams, and the Blues will look to carry their strong play into the All-Star break. The Seagulls, meanwhile, will be looking to play spoiler against one of the CCL's top clubs.
Orange County Riptide at Conejo Oaks

One of the week's top South Division matchups features two teams battling for valuable positioning. Orange County has established itself as one of the division's strongest clubs, while Conejo will look to defend its home field in what should be a competitive contest.
Santa Barbara Foresters at MLB Barons

The league-leading Foresters close out the week looking to maintain their impressive pace before the All-Star festivities begin. The Barons will have an opportunity to earn one of their biggest wins of the season against one of the CCL's most successful organizations.

The highlight of the week comes on Saturday as the California Collegiate League's brightest stars take center stage at Greater Nevada Field, home of the Triple-A Reno Aces.
The annual CCL All-Star Game brings together the league's top talent for a celebration of collegiate summer baseball, giving fans the opportunity to watch many of the season's standout performers compete alongside one another. With players representing clubs from across the league, the All-Star Game serves as both a showcase of the CCL's talent and a celebration of another outstanding summer season.
