June 16, 2017 The San Luis Obispo Blues score five times in the top of the ninth and the Healdsburg Prune Packers score once in the bottom to send tonight's game between the perennial CCL powers from the Central and North Divisions, respectively, into extra innings before Price Visintainer (Ala-Birmingham) drove in Andrew Ramos (Cumberlands) in the top of the 13th with the game-winner and a 7-6 victory for the Blues tonight at Recreation Park. The five-run outburst by the Blues erased Healdsburg's 5-1 lead going into the ninth inning, and featured a double, five singles and a run-scoring groundout as San Luis batted around in the frame. Bryce Nagata (Sonoma St) doubled with one out in Healdsburg's half of the ninth and scored on an single by Cole Brodnansky (Santa Rosa JC), who also had a two-run double in the seventh. Mac Lardner (Gonzaga) started on the mound for San Luis, finishing with seven strikeouts in six and two-thirds innings, and Visintainer's five hits in seven at bats were the lead performances for the Blues.
