June 10, 2016 La Mirada, CA Nick Cumpston (Eastern Kentucky) pitched six innings of one-hit ball today at Biola University, striking out seven to lead the Southern California Catch to a 7-1 win over the Santa Barbara Foresters. The Catch managed to score runs in each of the first six innings and got multiple-hit games from Jeff Murray (Santa Ana JC), Zach Malis (Grand Canyon) and Caleb Potter (West Virginia). One of Murray's hits was a solo home run in the second inning. Today's result marks the third loss in four league games for the Foresters. See the boxscore/recap here.
