The win is the Halos fourth in five CCL contests so far this season, their best start since joining the league in 2013, putting them on top of the CCL's tough Central Division. Brain Ginsberg (Brown) had two RBI, and Dalton Duarte (Cal St. Dominguez Hills) added a single and a double to also lead the Halo's offense. Ventura's starting pitcher Dylan Francis (Cal Poly Pomona) did just enough to keep Orange County at bay, scattering seven hits over six innings while striking out four and only walking one.
